“Just Around the Corner, Darling” (Magnolia Blossoms)
Breath in the cool fresh air after a soft spring rain. The type of rain that brings forth a hope for new things, and stirs awake a part of your soul that has been tucked away for the winter. That is what I feel when I see the first Magnolia blossoms of the season. Bursting forth in all their delicate, fragrant glory to gently wake us from our seasonal slumber, and welcome us to a bright new season. That feeling is what I wanted to capture with this piece.
9 inches x 12 inches, signed, sold in a gold vintage frame.
This piece is currently framed in an antique gold frame I discovered at a vintage shop in northern Michigan. (My favorite vintage frame find to date!)
