“A Soft Renewal” (Magnolia Blossoms)
Breath in the cool fresh air after a soft spring rain. The type of rain that brings forth a hope for new things, and stirs awake a part of your soul that has been tucked away for the winter. That is what I feel when I see the first Magnolia blossoms of the season. Bursting forth in all their delicate, fragrant glory to gently wake us from our seasonal slumber, and welcome us to a bright new season. That feeling is what I wanted to capture with this piece.
