Winter has never been my season. When the garden sleeps and the cold settles in, I ache for the flowers that have gone - for warmth, for color, for life blooming everywhere. But this collection became my way of seeking beauty in that longing.
Winter's Tale is a series of five watercolor cameos honoring the blooms and birds that show up when everything else has gone dormant. Painted in soft ovals on cold press paper, each piece holds the ancient symbolism of winter flowers - stories that have guided us through the dark for centuries.
