Inspired by Mary Lennox
A lonely girl found a locked garden and green shoots pushing up through the dead earth, and she bloomed right along with it. Mary’s tulip is a bright, sunny yellow, like the light that finally reached her hidden garden. For anyone who has ever started over.
This original watercolor is finished with delicate ink details and hand-torn deckled edges, then floated on warm linen and displayed in a gilded frame.
Original watercolor and ink on paper
Framed size: 8×10in
One of a kind. Signed by the artist.
