Inspired by Anne Shirley
All imagination, big feelings, and red-headed fire. Anne’s tulip glows in warm orange, like the autumn maples of Avonlea and a girl who was glad to live in a world with Octobers. For anyone who has ever found a kindred spirit, or is still looking for one.
This original watercolor is finished with delicate ink details and hand-torn deckled edges, then floated on warm linen and displayed in a gilded frame.
Original watercolor and ink on paper
Framed size: 8×10 in
One of a kind. Signed by the artist.
